A 12-year-old Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, released as the limited Seasonal Release 2021 and bottled that year at a cask strength of 54.7%. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky first matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, then received a finish in heavily charred American oak casks and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings red fruit, caramel, vanilla, maritime spice and fine oak. The palate is rich and oily, with dark fruit, toffee, spice, salt and sherry sweetness. The finish is long, spicy and slightly dry, with oak and dark fruit.
