Glen Scotia 12 Year Old Seasonal Release 2022 is a limited single malt from the Campbeltown distillery, bottled at a cask strength of 53.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent eleven years in first-fill bourbon barrels, followed by a twelve-month finish in Amontillado sherry casks.
The nose is maritime, with sea spray, sweet honey and caramel. On the palate, creamy vanilla and salted caramel are balanced by warming cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is nutty, with gentle cinnamon spice and a slightly dry close.
