This Glen Scotia 14 Year Old was created for the 2020 Campbeltown Malts Festival and is bottled at 52.8% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 2006 and matured in refill American hogsheads, medium char oak and first fill bourbon casks, before a finish in Tawny Port casks.
Tasting notes describe blackberry and floral notes with briny sea spray, green apple, peach syrup and vanilla, then a touch of honey sweetness. The finish brings peat smoke and warming spice.
