Glen Scotia 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Campbeltown, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was released in 2015 as part of a redesign of the distillery's range.
Selected American oak casks are used for maturation, which suit a fruit-forward whisky with a subtly coastal character.
The nose offers apricot jam, satsuma segments and apple pie, with sea breeze and baking spices following. On the palate, vanilla and fruit come with ginger and cinnamon adding a gentle dryness. The finish is fairly long, with lingering spice.
