Glen Scotia 15 Years is a Campbeltown single malt, introduced in 2015 as part of a redesign of the distillery's range. It was matured in specially selected American oak casks.
The colour is a rich gold. The nose offers citrus peel and ginger biscuits, sweet and deep, with apricot that shifts towards fruit salad and wood arriving later. A little water brings out baked fruit. Vanilla and fruit lead the palate, with ginger and cinnamon adding a subtle dryness, and the finish is fairly long with lasting spice.
