Glen Scotia – 15 Years

Glen Scotia 15 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is made from lightly peated malt, and no colouring is added. Maturation takes place in warehouses on the Campbeltown coast. The ex-bourbon casks bring vanilla, honey and light fruit, and the sherry casks add raisin and dried fruit sweetness. The nose has sea breeze, dried fruit, vanilla, honey and a little smoke. The palate is full and oily, with sherry sweetness, raisins, sea salt, oak and light peat smoke. The finish is long, with dried fruit, sea salt and gentle smoke.
