This is a 15 year old Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It matured for the full 15 years in ex-bourbon casks and comes from the distillery's newer range.
The distillery was founded in 1838. Campbeltown once had 30 distilleries, and today only Glen Scotia, Springbank and Glengyle are still active.
Glen Scotia is also known for a ghost story: a former owner who drowned in Campbeltown Loch is said to haunt the place.
