Glen Scotia 18 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt. It began its maturation in refill bourbon barrels and refill American oak hogsheads.
After 17 years the casks were married and given a twelve-month finish in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks.
The Oloroso adds fragrant, floral notes to the spice and sea spray typical of the distillery, giving a whisky with a distinctly maritime character.
