Glen Scotia 18 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt matured for 17 years in bourbon casks, then finished for a further year in oloroso sherry casks. It is unpeated and non-chill-filtered, with a golden colour.
The whisky shows the distillery's characteristic salinity. Sea spray, vanilla caramel and spiced fruit come together, and the finish is lingering, with spiced raisins and a touch of honeyed hazelnut.
