Glen Scotia 18 Years Old is an unpeated single malt from Campbeltown, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spends 17 years in refill bourbon barrels and hogsheads, then a further year finishing in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks chosen by the Master Blender.
The nose is fresh, with a coastal saltiness, perfumed florals, salted caramel and honey. The palate is creamy, with dried apricot, pineapple, toffee, sultanas, citrus peel and light oak. The finish is long and dry, with gentle spice, ginger, milk chocolate and oatcake.
