Glen Scotia 2000 is a Campbeltown single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in the year 2000 and matured in carefully chosen refill American oak hogsheads.
Glen Scotia was founded in 1838 and is one of the last three working distilleries in Campbeltown.
The nose is fresh and maritime, with vanilla, citrus and a hint of roasted barley. On the palate, tropical fruit and honey sit alongside a restrained oak note. The finish is sweet with caramel and marzipan and a little spice.
