A 21 year old single malt from Glen Scotia in Campbeltown, in a 70cl bottle. It was introduced in 2013 to mark the high point of the distillery's modernisation, and it is matured mainly in bourbon casks.
The nose offers tropical fruit, canned fruit syrup, lemonade and condensed milk, with coastal air and distant barbecue, then butterscotch, vanilla and honey. The palate is semi-viscous, with a spicy tingle of aniseed and cinnamon, syrupy fruit, lemon and tropical fruit, and a tannic edge before the finish. The finish brings sweet berry jam, cinnamon and fading aniseed.
