A 25 year old Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, in a 70cl bottle at 48.8% ABV. The whisky was matured in American oak barrels, then married in first-fill bourbon casks before bottling. It carries no added colour and is not chill-filtered.
It is often called Campbeltown's liquid gold, and it won best in show at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose is bracing and maritime, with vanilla oak, sea spray and spicy fruits. The palate brings red apple, tangy orange peel, vanilla syrup and caramel, and the long finish carries sea salt and ground ginger.
