A single malt from the Glen Scotia Distillery in Campbeltown, named after the town's historic port. It is matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The style combines vanilla, fudge and tropical fruit with a coastal, salty note and a little peat smoke. The nose brings sea spray, vanilla cream, butterscotch and yellow apple, and the palate is oily, with salted caramel, vanilla custard, coconut and barley sugar. The finish is medium, with sweet malt, sea salt, citrus peel and oak spice.
