This is the Glen Scotia bottling for the 2024 Campbeltown Malts Festival, a nine-year-old single malt from Campbeltown. It matured for nine years in first-fill bourbon casks, then spent six months in exclusive Fino sherry casks. It was bottled at cask strength, 56.2% ABV.
The Fino casks bring fresh, floral notes of citrus and lighter fruit, with sharp wood notes and a long, balanced finish. The edition is described as capturing the essence of Campbeltown, with a touch of salt and maritime hints.
