The first release in Glen Scotia's Signature Series, a Campbeltown single malt that pays tribute to the distillery's beginnings in 1832. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
The whisky matured in first-fill bourbon casks, the personal favourite of master distiller Iain McAlister. The aim is to show the maritime and tropical fruit character the distillery has long been known for.
The tasting notes describe juicy peach, crisp green apple and melted brown sugar, followed by a long, warming finish with oak spice.
