Glen Scotia Victoriana Cask Strength is a Campbeltown single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at a cask strength of 54.2% ABV.
The whisky is drawn from casks with a particularly heavy char, which gives rich, roasty and toasty notes. The full strength is there to bolster those characteristics.
The nose is elegantly oaky, with toasty sugar and citrus peel. The palate is led by fruit, with dark berry juiciness at its core, and the finish brings orchard fruits dusted with dark chocolate.
