GlenAllachie 11 Year Old is a single malt bottled by North Star Spirits as Single Cask Series 23. It was distilled in 2012 and matured in an Oloroso sherry butt until it was bottled in 2023 at 56.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The outturn is 662 bottles, and the colour is natural.
The cask gives aromas of redcurrants, dried cherry and cinnamon, leading to rich dried fruit with baking spice and citrus oils.
The nose also shows crème brûlée, rich oak and sherry notes. The palate is big and malty, and the finish is powerful and long, with stewed fruits.
