The release was made in 2018 to mark 50 years of Billy Walker in the whisky industry. Only 380 bottles were made worldwide, with 120 of them allocated to the UK. It is a very dark whisky for its age.
GlenAllachie was built in 1967 and passed in 2017 to a company operated by Billy Walker, former managing director of BenRiach, alongside Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage.
