This is an 11-year-old Glencadam from the Highlands, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2022 as Parcel No. 10 of The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks series from Elixir Distillers. It is a limited bottling at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
The whisky is unpeated and pale gold in colour.
The nose offers apple, pear and light grapes with vanilla, honey and soft malt. On the palate it is soft, creamy and intense, with pastry, ripe fruit and a little oak against balanced sweetness. The finish is medium to long, elegantly spicy with lasting fruit.
