Glencadam – Reserve de Bordeaux (70cl, 46%)

Glencadam Reserve de Bordeaux is a Highlands single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an original bottling from the distillery. Glencadam, whose name is said to mean the valley of the wild goose, started production in Brechin in 1825. The single malt is made from unpeated malted barley in two original copper pot stills, and the lyne arms rise at 15 degrees instead of sloping downwards, giving a particularly soft and delicate spirit. The whisky is neither coloured nor chill-filtered.
