This is a 15 year old single malt from Glencadam in the East Highlands, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023. It was finished in Madeira fortified wine casks and bottled at 46% without colouring or chill-filtration. Only 5,826 individually numbered bottles were filled.
Glencadam distils in two copper pot stills, a method that gives a soft, delicate spirit, which matures in traditional dunnage warehouses.
The nose is layered, with peach cake, syrup and caramel cream alongside roasted walnuts, pralines and candied fruit peel.
