Glencadam – 15 Year Old (46%)

Glencadam 15 Year Old is an East Highland single malt matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon casks. It is bottled at 46% with natural colour and without chill filtration. The distillery describes it as fruity and creamy, with orchard fruits, sweet vanilla and a subtle hint of liquorice. The nose is creamy, with bread and butter pudding, sugared almonds and tangy marmalade. The palate is rich and oily, with panna cotta, lotus biscuits, lemon peel and nutmeg. The finish is warming and nutty, with almond fingers, cocoa powder and a little ground coffee.
