Glencadam 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky made from malt selected from 2008. It was first matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks in the distillery's dunnage warehouses, then combined and finished in Madeira wine casks from Portugal's Madeira Islands.
It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, in an edition of 5,826 individually numbered bottles.
The nose offers butterscotch, ginger biscuits, caramelised pecans, dried pineapple and baking spices. The palate brings peach cobbler, golden syrup, crème caramel, toasted walnuts, praline and candied peel. The finish carries brandy butter, honey cake and salted caramel, with dark chocolate and cinnamon.
