Glencadam Reserva de Jerez is a 15-year-old Highland single malt distilled in 2007 and bottled at 46%. It is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The whisky first matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then was finished in Oloroso sherry butts from Jerez. It is a limited release of 9,420 individually numbered bottles.
The nose is praline, roasted nuts, golden syrup and candied peel. Maple pecan Danish, sultanas, milk chocolate and heather honey come through on the palate with nutmeg and oak spice, and the finish carries apple strudel, custard tart and espresso.
