Glencadam 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured entirely in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. It is a limited batch release, bottled at 46% without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose is delicate and floral, with pear, vanilla, citrus zest and honeyed malt. On the palate there is shortbread, white chocolate, poached peach and lemon curd, with a light, oily texture and a little toasted coconut. The finish is long, with sweet barley, vanilla pod and polished oak, fading dry.
