A 15 year old Highland single malt from Glencadam, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023. It matured first in ex-bourbon casks of American oak and was then finished in Madeira wine casks.
Bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, it is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The edition runs to 5,826 individually numbered bottles.
The nose brings buttery caramel, ginger biscuits, caramelised pecans, dried pineapple and baking spices. The palate is full-bodied, with peach pastry, pale sugar syrup, crème caramel, roasted walnuts and praline. Brandy butter, honey cake and salted caramel lead the finish, followed by dark chocolate and cinnamon.
