This is a 22 year old single cask Highland single malt from Glencadam, from 1999. It was matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt from Fernando de Castilla and bottled at 53.9% ABV. The release comprises 683 bottles.
The nose offers rich sherry, dried fruits and hints of dark chocolate. On the palate come stewed fruits, raisins, sweet spices and a touch of oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweetness and a hint of spice.
