Glencadam American Oak Reserve is a small batch single malt Scotch whisky from the Glencadam distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 40%.
The nose is sweet vanilla pod and buttercream with orchard fruits, golden raisin and a hint of Turkish delight. On the palate come poached pear and apple blossom, then acacia honey, roast chestnut, mocha and lemon rind.
The finish brings sweet cooked fruits, white grapes and apple crumble, fading into a peppery cake spice.
