Glencadam Pinot Noir Cask Finish is a single malt matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks. The spirit was then married and finished in hand-selected Pinot Noir wine barrels from Burgundy, France.
The nose offers dark fruits, Morello cherry jam, stewed plums and chocolate mousse. On the palate it is sweet and oily, with cooked blackcurrants, Brazil nuts, brambles and banana bread, plus hints of espresso, clove and star anise. The finish brings mocha coffee and Black Forest gateau, fading into warming ginger, nutmeg and cedar spice.
