Glencadam – PX Sherry Cask Finish (46%)

This is a Highland single malt from the Glencadam distillery. It matured first in ex-bourbon casks, then received a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, a rich and sweet style of sherry. The finish brings notes of dried fruit, baking spices and zesty citrus. It was bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. On the nose there is dried fruit, chocolate mousse, molasses, sour cherries and cinnamon. The palate offers cloves, maple syrup, blackcurrant compote, golden raisins and candied ginger, and the finish carries notes of espresso and caramel.
