Glencadam – Reserva de Madeira (70cl, 46%)

Glencadam Reserva de Madeira is a Highland single malt from Brechin, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. Each small batch is hand-selected by the Master Distiller. The whisky is matured first in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Madeira wine casks from Portugal's Madeira Islands, all in the distillery's dunnage warehouses. Baked apples and syrup sponge show on the nose. The palate brings golden raisins, chocolate and warm spice, and the finish is long, with toffee and mocha.
