Glencadam Reserva PX is a small batch single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The Master Distiller selected malt matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks in the distillery's dunnage warehouses, then married it and finished it in Pedro Ximénez sherry butts from Andalucía, Spain.
The nose is Christmas pudding, dried figs and dark chocolate with cedar and clove. The palate is sweet, with maple syrup, treacle toffee, prunes, maraschino cherries, brandy butter and Black Forest gateau. The finish brings cinder toffee, fruit cake and crystallised ginger, fading to cherry jam and espresso.
