Glencadam – White Port Cask Finish

This is a Glencadam single malt matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then blended and finished in White Port barriques from Portugal. The whisky comes from Glencadam's dunnage warehouses, and the White Port finish adds a further layer of flavour. The nose offers tangy strawberries and stone fruits with Chantilly cream, buttery malt and citrus oils. On the palate are summer berries and baked apple, with golden raisins, raspberry jam and brandy snap biscuits. The finish brings white pepper and custard tarts, fading to cinder toffee and sandalwood.
