GlenDronach 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 43% with natural colour. It matures for at least 12 years in a mix of Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry casks from Spain. The distillery was founded in 1826.
The nose offers sherried autumn fruits, smooth chocolate praline, spiced ginger cake and sweet raisins. On the palate come silky caramelised blackberries, orange and sultanas, ending in warming spice. The finish is long and rich, with lingering sherry, dried fruit and a hint of spiced oak.
