A 13 year old Glendronach from the Highlands, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 96.36, named Night Time Nurse. It is bottled at 59.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a single first fill bourbon barrel, which gave 212 bottles.
The nose starts medicinal, then opens to rosewater, sawn oak, new leather, wintergreen and apricot flapjacks; water brings sandalwood, turmeric and coconut cream. The palate is rich and syrupy sweet, with ripe yellow fruits, lychee, eucalyptus resin and caramelised pineapple.
