A 15 year old Highland single malt from Glendronach, in a one-litre bottle from the 1990s. It was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez and is a non-chill-filtered bottling.
The nose brings stewed plums, orange zest and cinnamon with smoky oak. On the palate it is velvety and full-bodied, with fig jam, nutmeg and dark chocolate, balanced by soft peat smoke. The finish is very long, with warming spice and toasted almonds.
