Glendullan – 12 Year Old 2009 Connoisseurs Choice Gordon & MacPhail (70cl, 45%)

This is a Glendullan single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 at 12 years old. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle, from an outturn of 3,245 bottles. Nine of the twelve years were spent in a refill bourbon barrel, followed by three years in an ex-wine cask from Côte Rotie. The nose shows dried strawberry, roasted nuts and crystallised violet flowers. The palate combines raspberry compote, liquorice and red apples, and the finish is medium in length with citrus and redcurrant.
