This is a Glenfarclas single malt from the Family Casks range, distilled in 2015 and aged 11 years in a single Matusalem sherry cask. It was bottled at a cask strength of 61.3% in a 70cl bottle, with 803 bottles filled, as a distillery exclusive during the Spirit of Speyside Festival 2026.
Matusalem is made by enriching a dry Oloroso sherry with 25% Pedro Ximenez, followed by further ageing in its own solera. It is rich in feel, with well-moderated sweetness.
Raisins, figs, candied orange peel and pudding spices run through both the nose and the palate.
