This is a 30 year old single malt from Glenfarclas, distilled in 1991 and bottled on 6 April 2021 at 56.4% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle and was produced as a special edition for the 10th anniversary of SWA.
It is a single cask from the Glenfarclas Family Casks, a range of sherried single casks. This one was matured in a second fill hogshead, which gave the whisky its deep, rich colour.
Glenfarclas is a Speyside distillery that has stayed in the hands of the Grant family, who have run it since 1860.
