This Glenfarclas was distilled in 2010 and matured in a first-fill sherry butt, cask 1534. It was bottled on 19 February 2021 at 60.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle, as part of The Family Casks series.
It is a special commission by Whisky Mew and Glenfarclas to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Cat's Eye. The whisky is a robust first-fill sherry style, and its notable colour comes naturally from maturation in the Speyside warehouses.
