This is a 9 year old Glenfarclas from the Family Casks range, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024. It is a single cask release, with 304 bottles filled from cask 1579, each 70cl at 60% ABV.
The whisky was matured in a sherry hogshead, which accounts for its colour. Glenfarclas is a Speyside distillery that has been in the hands of the Grant family since 1865, and it matures its whisky in ex-sherry casks.
