A 22 year old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, distilled in 1993 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 1.192, named Syrup Sponge in a Lumberjack's Pocket. It was matured in a single bourbon hogshead, and 245 bottles were produced.
The bottle carries the Society's oldest label format, used from 1983 until 2006. This release was made only for the USA, so it comes in a 75cl bottle rather than the usual 70cl.
