Glenfarclas Family Cask 2009 was distilled in 2009 and matured in a single sherry butt, cask 1118. Bottled on 11 August 2025 at its natural cask strength of 60.3%, this limited release produced 639 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
The nose brings dried plums, dates and figs alongside roasted almonds, cinnamon and tea. The palate is full and oily, combining raisins, dark chocolate and caramel with raspberry and lemon zest. A long, warming finish turns drier, with almond, tea and spicy oak.
