Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is a Scottish Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle. It spends at least twelve years in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks before the whiskies are married in a Solera vat.
The bourbon casks bring vanilla, pear and light citrus, and the sherry casks add dried fruit and soft spice.
The nose opens with ripe pear, green apple and citrus, followed by honey, vanilla and light oak. The palate has juicy pear, sweet apple and creamy vanilla with a hint of honey. The finish is medium in length, soft and lightly spicy.
