Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery at Dufftown, founded by William Grant in 1886 and now owned by William Grant & Sons. It is sold in a 75cl bottle.
The whisky is aged for at least 12 years in oak casks, some of American white oak that previously held bourbon and some that previously held sherry.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with pear, green apple and caramelised ripe fruit. The palate is soft and light, with caramel, vanilla, apple, peach, wood and a hint of barley. The finish is medium, soft and slightly honeyed.
