Glenfiddich – 12 Year Old Triple Oak

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Triple Oak is a Speyside single malt matured for at least twelve years in three kinds of cask: American bourbon casks, European oak sherry casks and new French oak casks. The bourbon casks give vanilla, pear and light citrus, the sherry casks dried fruit and soft spice, and the French oak adds structure and a note of toasted wood. The nose has ripe pear, apple and citrus, then honey, vanilla and light floral notes. The palate has juicy pear, creamy vanilla and a light honey sweetness, followed by ripe apple, gentle spice and wood. The finish is long, soft and elegant.
