Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is the entry expression in the distillery's core range, a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in ex-American oak bourbon casks along with some Spanish sherry oak casks, then married in oak marrying tuns.
The nose is fresh and fruity with a hint of pear, delicate and light. The palate is sweet and fruity, developing into butterscotch, cream, malt and subtle oak, and the finish is smooth and mellow.
