Glenfiddich – 15

Glenfiddich 15 is a single malt aged for 15 years, drawn from whisky matured in sherry, bourbon and new oak casks. The three are married in a large solera vat that has been in use since 1998 and has never been emptied. The result is a whisky that blends the different cask influences into one. The nose offers heather honey and vanilla toffee, with ripe dark fruit behind. The palate is creamy, with sherry warmth, then marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. The finish is long, with caramel sweetness and warming spice.
