Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded by William Grant in 1887 and remains family-owned.
The whisky is matured in a Solera vat, a large oak vessel that is continually filled and blended, combining whisky aged in American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and new oak casks.
The nose is orchard fruits, cinnamon and honeyed malt with subtle oak. On the palate are ripe pear, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spices. The finish is long and warm, with gentle spice and sweet malt.
